WHEN WE EDUCATE A CHILD, WE IMPACT A GENERATION AND THE GENERATIONS TO COME
Education is not merely a necessity; it's the cornerstone upon which better lives are built. At Gyaan Dhara, our unwavering commitment revolves around providing not just education but quality education to children hailing from less privileged backgrounds. We extend our support to a diverse range of young learners, including students from Zilla Parishad schools, rural educational institutions, and orphanages.
Our journey began with a humble but profound initiative in 2013—offering free math, science, and English tutoring to children residing in the heart of slums. We recognized that education is the key to unlock opportunities, and thus, we set out to empower those who needed it most. As time passed and our impact grew, our vision expanded to include children in orphanages and schools catering to the less privileged.
Years of dedication and hard work culminated in a significant milestone. In September 2023, we proudly inaugurated our first EduLab in Pune. This state-of-the-art educational hub represents a new chapter in our mission to provide quality education. It serves as a testament to our belief that every child, regardless of their background, deserves access to the best educational resources available.
Edulab is a sanctuary of opportunity, a place where deserving children from less privileged backgrounds are empowered with the skills and knowledge they need to build a brighter future, brimming with equal opportunities. Our commitment extends far beyond the confines of traditional education. At Edulab, we provide free training in essential life skills, including computer basics, MS-CIT certification, Spoken English proficiency, and invaluable life skills. In addition, we offer academic tutoring in Mathematics and Science, ensuring a well-rounded education for every child.
But we don't stop there. We aspire to uplift and equip our students for success, aiming high with our training for the National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship (NMMS) exams. All necessary course materials are also provided by us, eliminating any barriers that might stand in the way of their educational aspirations.
Our team of educators is not merely experienced; they are passionate mentors who are committed to providing these children with the springboard they need to leap toward a brighter future.
On the 9th of September, we launched our inaugural Edulab in a rural school located in Bavdhan, Pune. This initiative will benefit approximately 500 students of the school, marking the beginning of a transformative journey. We believe in laying the foundation for a brighter future, and our Edulabs initiative is designed to do just that. Through well-equipped learning spaces, we aim to provide young learners with the resources they need to excel academically. Furthermore, we provide skill based training to our young learners from less privileged who are ready to embark on their journey to a successful career. Our aim is to empower them with job and life skills that can help them secure their future with better job opportunities. Our Edulabs project will expand these facilities, reaching even more eager minds and nurturing their potential. But our most prized assets are the exceptional educators who will guide and mentor our students to success.
Our vision aligns seamlessly with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals of 'Quality Education' and 'Reduced Poverty.' Through Edulab, we aim to catalyze positive societal change by fostering education and employability skill development.
